What This Site Collects
This site uses two analytics services to understand how visitors use it:
Google Analytics 4 collects:
- Pages visited and time spent on the site

- Geographic region (country / state level)
- How you arrived (search engine, direct link, referral)
Microsoft Clarity collects:
- Session recordings (mouse movements, clicks, scrolls)
- Heatmaps showing where visitors interact with the page
- Device and browser information
Both services use first-party cookies. They are loaded only after you click Accept on the consent banner.
Why This Site Collects It
Analytics help me understand which content is useful, how visitors navigate the site, and whether anything is broken. This is a personal resume site with no advertising — the data improves the site and nothing more.
What This Site Doesn't Do
- No visitor data is sold.
- No advertising is served.
- No personal information such as name or email is collected.
- No cross-site tracking.

Data is processed by:
- Google LLC (Google Analytics) — Privacy Policy
- Microsoft Corporation (Clarity) — Privacy Statement
Both companies act as data processors under their respective privacy policies.
Your Choices
On This Site
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies:
- Accept: Analytics load and a cookie remembers your choice for 12 months.
- Decline: No analytics load and a cookie remembers your choice for 12 months.
After 12 months, the banner reappears so you can re-confirm.
Change Your Choice
To change your mind, clear your browser cookies for this site and reload — the banner will appear again.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
This site honors Global Privacy Control signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal (Brave, Firefox with the setting enabled, DuckDuckGo, and others), it is treated as a decline — no banner is shown and no analytics load.
Data Retention
- Google Analytics: Up to 14 months (the maximum standard GA4 retention).
- Microsoft Clarity: Session recordings are retained for 30 days; a small sample (about 1%) and any labeled or favorited sessions may be retained for up to 13 months. Aggregated heatmap data is retained for 13 months.
